PELUANG UNTUK MINE OPERATION SUPERINTENDENT (GOLD MINING)

PT. JDA-Indonesia is manpower consultants for the Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing and Construction industries within Indonesia. JDA has been servicing the Indonesian Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing and Construction industry for 20 years.

Our client, a gold miner and explorer company which has acquired the world class gold silver project in North Sumatra, is seeking an experienced candidate for the following position:

Mine Operation Superintendent (Code: MINE-SUPT)

Job Descriptions:

· Coordinate the mine operations mining team, to achieve mine development and production rates whilst ensuring management of safety, health and environment exceeds expectations.

· Mining operations including the safe management of various pit operations of bench and haul road development, including, D&B, L&H.

· This role will ensure that appropriate planning processes are in place to ensure pit operations can be carried out to deliver the required ore to the milling team.

· Close relationships maintained between the Mine Geology, grade control, mine contractor and Processing Managers.

· Work with and assist the manager, technical services and survey dept

· Developing good working relation ship with mining contractor

· Ensure that the mine services recommendations/instruction implemented and completed correctly

· Developing local contractors to manager maintenance roles within the operations

· Ensure high quality data is collected in all mining / processing / pit / stockpiles / geotech, stored securely, and processed reported on as required.

· Contribute to the provision of a safe and healthy workplace by ensuring all mine management, engineering systems, procedures and process changes incorporate the requirements of all company safety and environmental policies and Indonesian mine regulations 555 K / 26 / M.PE/1995

· Manage and coordinate with the various mine departments and mine contractors

· Plan and maintain production requirements as per mine schedule and mine plan

· Oversee the daily pit operations, ensure activities are executed in safe and timely manner

Requirements:

· Background Education/License

·- Bachelor Degree in Mine Engineering

- Registered POU

- Blaster certificate Class 2

· HSE & Community:

- Knowledge of Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations

- Reporting of all health & safety, environmental and community incidents.

- Areas of management are conducted in accordance with the site’s Statement of Excellence, corporate polices and statutory obligations for Health & Safety, Environment and Community Relations.

- Manage the effective Safety and Environmental performance of the department (including contractors) and report performance and continuous improvement actions.

- Establish effective and measurable objectives, targets & KPIs for departmental staff as part of the internal performance evaluation process.

· Skills, Qualification and Experience:

- Minimum 10 years experience managing pit operations, mine contractors, production system, mine stockpile and ROM management, managing pit wall integrity, dewatering operations.

- 1st class blaster ticket, experience in drill and blast, pre – split, managing D & B contractors.

- Manage and schedule daily activities of Mine Contractor, ensure adequate, resources, production, pit wall stability

- Skill set including effective communication, man management, planning & mechanical maintenance skills.

- Demonstrates the ability to manage & coordinate planning department, grade control, contractors D&B, L&H, road maintenance, drainage and dewatering requirements to optimize production and minimize costs.

- Review and optimize the mine technical function ensuring inefficiencies identified are appropriately managed and improvements initiated.

- Ensure that effective training and development programs are in place to improve the capability of all mine technical employees.

- Manage all reporting requirements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

- Good communications

- Proactive in Pit safety

- Good communication and coordination skills
